"Truckee River Murder House"
This stone cabin is a mystery to me, but according to paranormal investigators Patrick McQueary and Jason Spencer of The Haunted Side, it was reportedly the site of a brutal murder in the 1940s, when a hitchhiker killed a family of 5 there. While I have not been able to find *any* evidence to support this story, I was able to find old aerial photos that show additional buildings on the property as late as 2006. If anybody knows anything else about this old place, please let me know!
