Cressid

Cressid was the name of a station established about 1888 on the Central Pacific Railroad's original Transcontinental route across Churchill County. It was abandoned when the railroad was rerouted to the south through Hazen in 1903. The old railroad grade was later used by the Victory Highway, and only the shell of a car from that era remains to mark the site.
