Desert (Marsala)
Marsala was a station and sidetrack on the Southern Pacific Railroad when it was rerouted around White Plains Hill in 1903. In 1907, it was renamed Desert, and was finally abandoned in 1960. While nothing stands along the railroad, some unknown remnants are located less than 1000 feet away.
