American Flat Millsite Virtual Tour

The mill at American Flat was probably one of Northwestern Nevada's most infamous and storied locations, especially with the increasing rumors of its impending demolition. The massive concrete ruins, erected in 1921-22, were for years the scenes of local parties, paintball wars, graffiti, and stories even claim that Satanic worshippers used the site for sacrifices. In 1996, an ATV rider was killed at the site while riding up a set of stairs, and in 1997 the site was closed to the public.

The mill ruins were finally demolished in 2014 amid safety concerns. This virtual tour shows the mill as it appeared a few years prior.
