Warm Springs
(Peterson's Mill)
Peterson's Mill (named for Pete Peterson, who operated a ranch and station in the valley) was transported to Warm Springs from Austin in 1868 to serve the mines at New Pass. Reportedly, it milled 12,000 tons of ore before closing.
