Reservation

Reservation was the name given to a non-agency station on the Southern Pacific's Nevada & California Railway, probably established about 1905 during the conversion from narrow gauge to standard gauge. It was so named due to its location on the Walker River Indian Reservation. A post office operated either here or nearby called Loma beginning in 1907, which was transferred to Reservation May 15, 1909. Research has been inconclusive as to whether the two were the same location or not.
