Senator Mine
The Senator or Red Bird mine was first located between 1925 and 1928 by Charles & Jack Humphrey. During its years of operation, the mine passed through numerous hands, and about 137 flasks of mercury were produced by 1965. The mine was abandoned within the next three years.
