Warm Springs

Warm Springs got its start in 1866 as a stopping point between Elko, Eureka, and camps further south. A settler arrived that year, constructing a small stone house next to the springs. By the turn of the century, a store and lodging house were built. Though never reaching a very large population, the town thrived for decades as an oasis for travelers. Today, relatively recent buildings and a pool remain, though Warm Springs has been closed to the public for several years.
