Major's Place
Major's Place, originally Major Woods' or Major Woods' Place, was established by Major Woods in the 1930s. Originally a service station and restaurant, there were also cabins for tourists. By the 1950s, the name Woods was dropped. Today it operates as a bar, restaurant, motel, and RV park; fuel is not available.
