Mill Canyon

Mill Canyon was the location of a small custom mill erected in the 1880s by a group from Virginia City, which included John Fondaway, G.W. Humphrey, and Isaac Zintmeyer. It may have been related to mining activity at nearby Salinas, but no documentation exists to confirm or deny this. Little, if any, ore was ever reduced.

Rock walls remain of the original mill, although a shed of sorts was incorporated in the mid 2000s.
