Fine-Grinding and Concentration Plant - Easily the most recognizeable structure at American Flat, the Fine-Grinding and Concentration Plant is built of reinforced concrete and reaches a height of 83 feet. The building contained a number of ball mills and classifiers. Two elevators fed thirty-two concentrating tables on the second floor, and a 20-ton crane operated along a crane-way connecting the the Coarse-Crushing Plant and Fine-Grinding Plant.
Substation - The substation was a small building located behind the Fine-Grinding and Concentration Plant.
