Pritchard's Station
William T. Pritchard (aka "Nick of the Woods") built a toll road in 1874 connecting Tybo (and by extension Belmont) to Eureka. From there, Pritchard's freight businesses extended to the Central Pacific at Palisade prior to the completion of the Eureka & Palisade Railroad. Around the same time as establishing the road, he built a new stone station where passengers and freight could connect to stages to Hamilton and Pioche. The station appears to have been in use in some capacity until at least the 1890s, when a post office was applied for but quickly rescinded.
