Picotillo

White Pine County

Picotillo, also called Pocotillo and Picotillo Flat, was established on the east side of Treasure Hill in 1868 amid the initial rush to White Pine. Though it was heavily promoted by developers, its steep location proved to be its downfall and it did not last beyond 1870.
